BREWING BIOREGIONS
The project Brewing Bioregion by Paula Schulte and Robyn Sonntag explores bioregions through the lens of beer brewing, blending culture, ecology, and history. Originating from research on industries along the Dommel River and beer being pivot in shaping Eindhoven, they started brewing beer. The beer-bioregions shifts the focus from political boundaries to cultural and ecological systems. Through this project, beer and each brewing element becomes more than just an object - it’s a way of understanding, reclaiming, and celebrating bioregions and the shared histories.
