a project with Katla Björg Sigurjónsdóttir
Tengingar/Verbindung is an interactive installation that aims to let people interacting with the objects and each other. The organic shapes express serenity and playfulness. The counterweight objects come in three different pairs, which are all different sizes. This combination of shapes creates an orchestra of sounds and movements. Every pair has an array of sounds which differ from the others, the sounds play when the metal objects touch each other. The objects can be moved between the metal plates if desired. These movements and sounds are intended to rouse curiosity and captivate the audience.
